Much about Lord Sigmund the Liberator seems to be pulled right from the pages of fables and fairytales. A knight in shining armor; a wounded hero doomed to die for his ideals; a man with unknown origins rising up to save the world from great evil.

Look closer, though, and a different picture starts to emerge. The man known as the Liberator is a study in opposites. Quiet and shy, but ferocious in battle. Cold and aloof, but also protective and dependable. A capable leader and a clumsy friend. Nobility and an outcast. And though he keeps his past a closely guarded secret, it holds further mysteries still.
