[Katara would love to agree and do what she can to comfort him - but her optimism is based on genuine belief. And returning from their lovely stay at Spa Malnosso to find that Aang was returned hope and Zuko was taken as well... leaves her somewhat flat of that. So there's a bit of a pause here before she comes out with something she can believe.]
